In this piece, I want to take you through some of the things you should know before you join the field of blogging. By the way, I'm offering FREE training for successful blogging.
Let's see what blogging is first. Blogging is the activity of writing blogs. A blog is a personal online diary which allows you to share your thoughts and ideas with the world.
Now, what makes one start blogging? you may be interested in writing, drawing or any form of art. You can start blogging to share what you are doing with the world.
Some of the things you should consider before you start this amazing job include;
- Passion/Why. What drives you to do blogging, do you want to do it because so and so are doing it?, do you want to do it because of money. Once you know your reason, well and good.
- The Content. You want to start blogging, do you have content and what kind of content is it? In blogging, content is the key.
- Niche. This is the area or topic you want to write about. It is advisable that you white about what have interest for.
- Equipment. If you have a tablet or a laptop , you are okay. Still you can blog without these. You can use your machine at work or go a cyber cafe to post some two or three articles.
- Connection with people. How is your social life? are you active on social media and how many social media platforms have you joined so far? This will help people know of your blog faster because of the posting you will be doing.
Did you know that 70 percent of successful bloggers around the world started blogging as a hobby? Have in mind that blogging pay bills, and not just bills, expensive bills. We have numerous of bloggers who live in their homes in their respective cities, they drive and have anything one can wish for in life. In short, they are living their dream life. All these courtesy of their hard work in blogging.
If you start blogging with the mind of making money, my friend you won't really make it too quick as you may think. You will give up if you see no money in it. So this is what you are suppose to do. Making money blogging is not that easy and it doesn't happen over night. You must be commit yourself to it, you must own it, do it over and over again, do it with all the passion you have for it, consult from those who have experience and change your tactics should there need.
